A couple of excerpts from my motorcycle policy which could render the policy useless to us the insured. The entertaining stuff is is in bold.
--> NO - Not that I would run from LEO. But, should you choose to do so, I'm guessing a new bike is the least of your worries.

Coverage Exclusions, We will not pay for;
12. which occurs:
a) while your recreational vehicle is being used by you, a relative or anyone else with your knowledge or permission if such vehicle is being used:
(1) in any illegal activities (other than a traffic violation); or
(2) to flee any law enforcement agent :spank:​

13. caused intentionally by or at the direction of you or a relative, including willful acts the result of which that person knows or ought to know will follow from their conduct.

15. to your recreational vehicle or safety apparel while used in any competitive event, including but not limited to drag or speed racing, hill climbing, stunting activities, or in practice or preparation for such an event. This exclusion does not apply to parades or escorting participants in charitable racing events.

20. occurring while your recreational vehicle has been abandoned, unless necessary because of a medical emergency

25. to a recreational vehicle when used for any purpose not intended by the manufacturer.

NUMBER 20, IF I READ THAT RIGHT ^^ lets say you get a flat and leave the bike. ** IT APPEARS ** these folks are off the hook unless you claim a medical emergency.... WOW!

Oh - and don't piss off your relatives! lol
Just thought I'd share some fun facts from Nationwide.. .. ..

FWIW: The Hit and Run section is entertaining too! They BETTER MAKE CONTACT and if they don't, you need an eye witness to PROVE you're TELLING THE TRUTH!!! A video may not be enough! But, those views are changing so, roll film!

The Hit and Run section....so they don't trust the video by seeing their own eye but a third party witness who could lie! Bring it up to the court and the judge will spank the Insurance lawyer to the btt!
