Wishing I had a Hayabusa

Which is precisely the reason why I want it as my second bike. And I want your bike with a different headlight and seat as my first bike. Best of both worlds. I would have a weapon in a Fizzer, and a beast in a 'Busa

What, so you could go at Warp speed in a straight line....i like not answering to Bubba in the shower!!!

As for my bike, i have 3 different headlights!!!! plus a spare OEM headlight....and as for my seat, it is more comfortable than OEM FZ6 seat, despite appearances! True story!

I'm sure Bubba and I would become good friends quite quickly... Realistically though, I ride like a grandma almost all the time - safety is paramount to me. The only times I ride like a maniac are when no one is around. I'm a little skeptical about that seat being more comfortable then stock, UNLESS it was form fit to your back end? Trusting you about it though :grin:

Friends I ride with poke fun at me for wanting to ride one of these..but I feel the same way you do..i think its a unique looking bike and I would love to take one on long distance trips thru twisties..

Since Kawi was brought up.. this is a bit random, but I think this was one of the coolest bikes they ever made :thumbup: I'd totally ride one now

Erci knows where it's at! A riding buddy of mine has that exact bike and I tell him every single time I see him...if you EVER go to sell that bike, make sure I'm the first one you call! I'm absolutely in love with that thing. Even with all the little nagging upkeep things he's always having to do, I'd still take it.

BTW, up until recently, he had two sets of bodywork...the green exactly like the picture above, and a very sweet black with the same graphics. He finally decided to keep the black and sell the green. Honestly, I kinda liked the green just a tiny bit more. :thumbup:

I think the Hayabusa looks like the mobile version of "The blob", big, fat & FUGLY!

Would much rather something like an unrestricted ZX12.

While it is ugly, I think it is one
Of those uglies that grow on you, like a Range Rover, a Chrysler 300C or P!nk. Just can't help but want a little taste...

Also, I have no clue what MAC stands for. MOC (man on campus) fits the context, ?

the image i have of a busa is of an elongated beast that s as tall a bus (exaggerating of course) which do quarter mile runs. Most of the busas we have in malta are setup like this. elongated swingarm to do quarter mile times.

i dont like their look but yes i sat on one and it looks comfy for touring on. that said, as my second bike i always lust after mv's brutale, or lo and behold, a honda dominator for everyday and dirt trail use!

Yeah, kids these days have no appreciation [rolls eyes].

On a side note, a friends uncle owns a 1948 (I believe) Indian that has been fully restored. It has a top fill, full loss oil system, old spring seat, triple headlight, fat chrome bars...

He has had it for two years, and paid $30kAU for it (about $32kUSD at current rates), and because he can't figure out how to work it himself, it hasn't even been started, and sits in a shed with a load of other expensive antiquities.

Joking aside i'd have a zx-14 over a busa, just because i tend go go against the popular decision... i have a zune not an ipod... etc....kinda fugly if you ask me, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder right?
