I was glad I didn't ride in today! Probably tomorrow though ...

I saw the same s**t down in El Segundo today at lunchtime.

Windy days make for interesting riding - you're going straight while leaning in one direction at times

I live at the base of Big Bear Mtn and it's like that every fall and spring as the weather changes. You just learn to ride in the wind just like it takes time to learn to ride the highways effectively. The more relaxed you are in the wind, the better. Let the wind push the bike a bit and it basically corrects itself.

It's not windy till the trees are bending double.

This post has been brought to you from the North Sea coast of Suffolk ;)

My favourite wind is a cross wind with hedges and gaps along the side of the road...lol. All ok in line with the hedges, then you hit a gap and what a thrill:eek::spank:

It looks so warm there though we just got snowed on again here in utah im sick of this cold weather:(

Wonder if that's the same wind system that hit us two nights ago: 95 mph at Park City and 105 mph at another mountain peak.

I like side winds too - once you get used to it and it stops scaring the sh*t out of you it's a really cool feeling. Feels like the wheels are going right out from under you but they aren't.

Ozzieboy, you couldn't be more right............its crazy........one moment your riding along, straight up, and you hit a intersection and the cross wind seems to blow you at a 45 degree angle.

It's kinda like some crazy challenge to make it home without sideswiping the car next to ya.
