Windshield Question

So i just purchased an 04 FZ6. I really would like to go with a smoked version of the stock windshield. All of the distributors state that the puig replacement smoke windshield is only available for 05 and up. Does anyone know if there was anything done differently between the 2004 and 2005 windshield? If the puig wont work does anyone know of any other manufacturer that makes a replacement smoked shield? Thanks for your help!!!

I'm pretty sure 04-06 windshields are identical. 07+ is a totally different fairing design.

I have an 04 and I just bought a puig windscreen. I don't know if its the only type made for the 04-06.I did look at Terminal Velocity and they did not make an 04-06 model. I can tell you I am very happy with both its performance and its looks! :thumbup:

Yep, 2004-2006 wind screens are the same.

to reaffirm the above comments. the 04-06 models are the same save for the transition from silver to black frame/engine. if the windscreen is stated for 05 it will fit 04-06 models no problem
