Speaking of "other forums" I stopped over at ess bee enn yesterday for the first time in months. The front page for FZ6 had threads dating back 4 days. Here, we have a hard time keeping 4 pages in a single day!

When I am away from here for even two days, I come back to over 600+ new posts. This is THE FZ6 forum period!

But this forum also got a very friendly environment. SBN got infested with some trolls like Magseal and Bartrice and some older members have just become grumpy and intolerant to people's questions.

One thing we can do is kill the bandwidth on that side. We could register onto that "other" forum and post pictures into their archives; killing their bandwidth. We could link said pictures onto this one.

I've never felt so comfortable as I am at this forum. Besides I post such intelligent threads ....... no other forum would have the competency to post replies.

In all seriousness I've been at some forums where its so dangerous you need to wear a flat jacket when posting. No names, no pack drill,, but some Falcon 4.0

I was really close to starting a new thread about this but figured I'd do a search because I'm sure someone here has found this other site. Lo and behold, I found this thread. I missed this thread when it was first posted and just came across the "other" forum today.

Anyway, here is the post I was going to start of my thread with...

So I was doing a Google search on a few things and come across this site - Yamaha FZ6 Forums - FZ6 Motorcycle Forum - fz6forums.com

Why in the world would someone create another FZ6 site when we have such a good one going here?!?!

At the time of this post our site has:
Members: 7,157
Threads: 14,241
Posts: 189,610

There are so many topics we've covered. We have such a great collection of unique members from all over the world. If anyone wants to know anything about an FZ6 (or FZ6R for that matter) THIS is the site they come to. I understand that competition can be a good thing at times, but this feels like someone is trying to reinvent the wheel or something.

The SBN FZ6 subforum is acceptable and has some good info, but not a whole other site like fz6forums.com.

Anyway, I'll stop my rant lol :rant:

BTW, I love this site and all the great members it has! You guys (and girls) are awesome! :thumbup:

Hey Pete, now I post more at this forum. But I like SBN as I can read about other bikes in one place.
