That motor! Little gem that it is! The ability to tour way beyond your expectations. The ability to be able to scratch better than it should ever be able to. It's rock solid reliability. Running costs.

Just a great little bike....that plays way harder than it looks like it should!

Thats its mine, I can be totally selfish.
My son can't ride it hes still on restricted licence, my wife can't ride it, she has the licence but not the experience so, wisely, has chosen not to try.

I love all of my modifications to make it even more mine.
that it will accelerate when I twist that grip and that it pulls up when i want it to
that when I bought it new it had only about 3 kms on it
the yellow, the black

not much at all really............I just like it

I'll echo Adrian.

What I like about my FZ6?

That it's mine, all mine - and performs exactly as I want it to.

Cheers,
Rick

Consistency.
It starts when I ask it. No dramas mechanically whatsoever!
The 2Bro sound, and its bi-polar attitude @ 7500rpm.

That, and bloody great bunch of forums members!

And the fact that it still hasn't been passed on Georgia's Dragon at Blood Mountain (knocking on wood and slapping the ****eyness out at the same time)

Pretty obvious what is good about the FZ6... so here's what I dislike about it...

1) Cheap non-adjustable suspension
2) Limited alternator power output (for accessories)
3) Location of the battery
4) Seat comfort

Yes, all this can be rectified via after market... However, for me instead I bought a Suzuki V-strom as a second bike... For me the V-strom addresses everything above right out of the crate...
