Not having a good run of late, seem to be breaking all sorts of plastic fasteners on my FZ6.
Was lucky enough to be able to slot the end of the bit that was broken off and stuck in the bike and back it out gently with a driver / pliers:
What I would like to know is:
1. What size is this / type, i.e. metric or imperial. It measure 5mm x 14mm so I guess it's an M5, but it is also exactly 1/2 inch long...so I wonder if it is indeed imperial. But don't Japanese manufacturers only use metric anyway?
2. Is there a better type of metal / alloy screw I can use and does anyone know of a place to get a kit or something nice and bespoke?
Thanks everyone.
