Not bad, good effort there. If the Missus goes into work as opposed to working from home next week, she'll see hers roll over 56,000 miles. Mind you, that's been done over three years from new, her commute's nothing like it used to be. Her first Fazer (also her first bike) had 36,000 on it when she crashed it, that was done over one year and one week, also from new.
After massive commutes, European tours, weekend rideouts, track days and a bit of drag racing neither bike has ever shown any sign of engine problems other than the TPS failure (I think she's on her fourth one now), one cam chain changed as a precaution and a bit of corrosion on some of the casing. The oil gets changed when it's supposed to and it gets a long run at least twice a week, it's not had any special care and attention paid to it and rarely gets cleaned, so they do seem fairly indestuctable.
