This thread starter was on another forum of mine, and the plethora of answers, funny, insightful, sad, dead-on, or just plain bizarre were amusing to read. So, let's go!
I'm in a despondent mood tonight, so here's mine (at least until tomorrow):

"Well, that sucked." ;)

I don't want a tombstone.

I want to have my body cremated. Have my ashes mixed with gun powder and put into fireworks.

I want the same fireworks used during my remembrance/memorial service.

Go out with a bang!

Band: Dream Theater
CD: Metropolis Pt.2: Scenes From A Memory
Song: The Spirit Carries On.

Move on, be brave
Don't weep at my grave
Because I am no longer here
But please never let
Your memory of me disappear.

There was another I liked but can't think of it right now. If I remember I'll add it later...

You and Hunter S. T. ;)

Loved by many, hated by few, ridin hard, until he was through! :BLAA:

Kinda winged that - for s & g's. . .

When the time comes that I die I hope it was in defense of an innocent or saving the life of someone. I want the bagpipes to play "Going Home" and want those to remember my goofy humor. I want the tombstone to be by those that remember who I am, whatever it may say I hope it says something positive.

Ditto. I want my ashes sprinkled into the food of my enemies! :-)

Most blues guitarists put the following on their tombstones:

"I didn't wake up this mornin'..."

Sorry but mine is boring but true.

"Loving wife and Beloved wife" :)

BTW Spike Milligan (British comedic legend, Goon and madman.....) had the best EVER:

"See, I told you I was ill" LOL

"Popcorn said F*** you!" -----awesome

But for me

"Hold my beer and watch this!!!"

Yeah he hit the gas instead of the brake

the same "going home" as the one that Mark Knopfler did a rendition of?

"l'm not buried here" or
"So you've found the 2nd clue." or
"Apparently life was one of those 'One time deals'." or
"GRABOID, (grah'-boid) n. – Underground Sqwid" (Tremors reference)
