Yes it is,but my heartbreak was for our 11yr old son who never knew life without her.

Sorry to hear that, but you need to think of the positives. 14 years that pup had a hell of a life! My last dog we had to have put down because she had cancer. She was only 11.. 14 years is great for a dog of that size!
