After the streak of sunny weather out here I went about two weeks using the bike as my one form of transportation, so when the rain hit again it took me a while to get used to the car. I went to turn left out of my neighborhood, gauged the distance to the oncoming car, knew it was good, then accelerated (or rather tried to)... I found myself flooring the pedal of my poor Subaru expecting it to slingshot me just like my fizzer! :spank: Meanwhile the speedo needle was ever so slowly making its anticlimactic rise upwards towards the flow of traffic...
After that and a few attempted leaning corners I got back into the groove of being in a metal cage, but still didn't lose the wave. I kept on waving to bikers, most of whom just gave me a rather confused look in return.
