Watsen LED Turn signal question....

I bought a set of matte black Watsen signals for the fizzer. Do I need anything special to install. On their website its says I may need something to make then running lights. Do I need their modules or could I pick up something at my local autoparts store to make them work? My lower cowl is getting delivered today too....Cant wait...

Did you spend the extra $5 for the running light feature? If you did not, then you cannot use them as such.

As far as wiring goes, remove the old ones and wire these in their place.. it's that easy! If you have any tech. questions, call WatsenDesign at 877-210-7665. They have very friendly customer service! : )

I bought them used. I'm picking them up tonight so I'll ask the guy if he bought the module. Just thought i'd ask about the modules, because for $5 I thought it may be a generic piece that could be purchased anywhere.

Well, it's tricky, Laz... I'll explain what I mean.

The stock turn signals have three wires: +Hot1 for the turn signal, +Hot2 for the running lamp, and -Ground for grounding to the neg on the battery.

Watsen has two different products. One has simply +Hot1 and -Ground. The other has all three wires. Based on the pictures you posted, it looks like there are three distinct wires from the LED hub. That would indicate to me that you have the running lamp capability (if the pictures you posted are actually the LED flushies you have).
