Vegasrider vs SV650 at LVMS Dragstrip

So tonight I joined up with another rider from a local forum. He rides a '07 Suzuki SV650. It was the first time for me at the dragstrip so I was a Newbie ( he has done it before ). We did three runs, we were going for our 4th but some dude in his Mustang blew up his engine at the start, and his hood bliew off the car and it caught on fire. So rather waiting for them to clean the mess up, we left.

I am posting our 3rd run, both our best runs for the evening

Hell yeah Kenny. It is a freaking blast. I sure am not very experinced at it either. You did great man. It sure is a cool feeling to legally cane the hell out of the bike.

Hell yes! Unfortunaltely, they only do it about once a month. But it's only $10, and you can go as many times you like until they close. But it takes a while to Que through 400 vehicles, especially if a car blows up on the track! Damn Mustang, I guess it wasn't the right nitro ratio.

I heard that they did have a bike only drag night last year, but the turnout wasn't a large as they hoped it would be. They cap the number of vehicles at 400 so unless there were 400 bikes, it's better for the track to combine it. But you are qued up separately. Bad thing is that a lot of the cars will break down and worse, leak fluids which just prolongs the evening since they have to get the equipment out and clean it up. Nice things about bikes, very rarely you will find one leaking and breaking down.

Of the night that they did only have the bikes, I heard that the riders loved it because they got about 20 runs in. Hell, it's only $10, can't really bitch.
