Well I have had my Hi vis textile jacket and trousers for over 5 months now.
I am very happy to report that they are still water proof and doing a great job. I have treated the gloves with a textile & leather cleaner and they still remain water proof too. The rainy season is well and truly on me now and riding to work is still 26km of fun.
The boots are also holding up brilliantly as well. No obvious wear and also water proof. Would I purchase this gear again. Definitely.
On a side note, over the weekend I had a biker come in who was riding in a group at about 70kph. He got rear ended by another rider. Sadly he came off and broke his leg. As I was going over his gear to look for damage I noted that a number of his items were also from the Crivit (ALDI) range. The boots were slightly scuffed. no burst stitching and the gloves were intact.
I was very impressed indeed.
Cheers
