Yesterday was another rain day in Northern California so my wife and I jumped into the cage and drove down to Yuba City to visit with her folks. On the way out of town we were eastbound with this big storm cell in our path so I pulled over and grabbed a pic.

Now fast forward a soggy 20 minutes driving through the mass of moisture and we pulled over to look back at the same cell. It is to the left of the Sutter Buttes and yes that road is way more fun on two wheels :)

Beautiful pics. We were completely shadowed out here in Reno. Finally got some rain Sunday night. Crazy! I was suppose to go to Roseville for a wedding on Friday (in the cage) but it was snowing too much. Didn't want to get stuck in crawling traffic over the summit. Been there, done that. Too many times. All I can say is the lakes better fill up. I've seen pics of Folsom lake and Lake Oroville. Lake levels have come up a lot. Making a dent in this drought is going to take a lot of rain.
