Hi All,

On every single ride I take I always try to perfect my skills and practice something new. Well I have bought this book "Total Control: High Performance Street Riding Techniques" and it should be getting delivered by the end of this week or so. Does anyone else has this book and what would be you input on the book. Will it make me into a next AMA champion (yeah right...LOL) or just a basics. It has good reviews but haven’t seen any on the forum.

I'm a new rider, so I bought this after Reg Pridmore's book. I found it more useful that Pridmore's. I try to pick it up at least once a week to see if I can improve on my skills. The cornering section has been helpful for me. I'll try to catch one of his clinics when he offers it for my area again.

This book is one of my favorites, along with Nicky Ientasch's (I probably mangled the spelling there) Sport Riding Techniques.

The riding guidance is excellent, and for comic relief there's some really goofy pictures of Lee Parks in the book....

Kinda funny, I just finished it two days ago. It's a great book for real-world riding. I think it has some great drills and advice in it.
One thing, I would definitely read Twist of the Wrist first. There are a lot of references to that book in it, and you can get a lot more from Total Control if you read Twist first. Parks builds on a lot of the principles from Kieth Code.
