Lent my bike to my friend for a quick ride, came back with scrapes and a dent in the tank.. Thank god for frame sliders or it would have been much worse.
Next time someone asks to take a quick ride on your bike tell them what a biker friend of mine said once when i asked him if i could take his for a spin.
He looked me straight in the face without blinking and said, sure, if I can *$#% your girlfriend.
I have never even considered riding a bike that was not at the dealer since.
Now i know the biker code, tell your buddy.
