Lots of folks use Canyon Dancers, but the easiest, cheapest, and strongest solution is to simply wrap your soft tie down straps around the lower triple on both sides. Thus, the straps will not contact or damage any of the fairing. Tighten them down so that the front springs compress about half way. It's also a good idea to tie down the rear a bit, so it doesn't bounce around. I attach to the passenger peg supports so that these rear straps can also be run somewhat forward. That way, both the rear and front straps are compressing the suspension so that the front wheel stays in place, desirably against a chock. I've hauled a lot without any rear straps and without incident, but better safe than sorry.
I've attached an old photo showing Canyon Dancers at the Dragon's Overlook, although I now strongly recommend simply using the lower triple.
