Got myself a tail tidy for xmas and it came today..so decided to get away from the crazy kids and hide in the garage for an hour...yeah right

So the stripdown begins, seat off, LH side pod off, cable ties cut so all i need to do is take the stock fender off (4 allen bolts) 3 come off no probelm but then it starts ..bolt 4 rounds off ..and no tool in the garage could get it off.

I eventually unbolted the very back of the sub-frame and had to remove the entire section just to access the bolt for drilling..which was another epic..

but i got it done in the end 31/2 hours later ..i am pleased with the results however..some crappy iphone pics below

Looks great with those cans!

(and it took me about 3.5 hours too; my big screwups were with the included signal lights... :banghead:)

If I'm not mistaken, those are MIVV cans, right? I'm thinking about picking up a set of those next spring. And that FE looks GREAT! I've never seen that particular one.

Dont ya hate it when one freaking bolt proves to be a pain in the A, making an otherwise straightforward job a pain!

FE looks great...nice job.
