WTF are you talking about? US 129 in TN/NC? If so, don't go there.

The Tail of the Dragon is actually on the border of NC and TN, mostly in TN. There is a motorcycle resort on the NC side called Deal's Gap. Great place to stay by the way. I did a week there this past August and cannot wait to go back next year.

There are many other roads in the area that are great to ride also, including The Cherohala Skyway and Hellbender 28.

all the dumb dumb riders? Dumb dumb cagers thinking they are race car drivers and crossing the lines? or maybe the dumb dumb semi drivers that physically can't stay on their side of the road with that many turns?


jIf you go be careful, there is a lot of temptation to ride over your head and also a lot of risk of the others in the area to make problems for you.

go to there website first. Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway, Graham Co, NC. I'm going next spring, but be careful in TN the cops are in every speed trap.

I actually live in Raleigh, NC. I am planning on making a trip up there next spring with my dad if hes doing better by then.

Expect cops, lot of em

Go once, it is worth it, but you'll likely not go back. I also liekd the roads around it better, and am looking forward to planning another trip around there next summer...Maybe 2

Don't go there on the weekend. Far too many crazies. Middle of the week is best.
