The anticipation is killin me!

The anticipation is killing me! i got my Carbon 2 Bros on tue... $699 shipped! (with an over night delivery!!) but i cant install them until tomorrow! I took the bike to our shop earlier this week to prepare to have them installed on friday... (we have cut back hours at work so we get off at 11am on fridays now) so ill have the rest of the day to work on the bike in a nice warm shop compaired to my cold rainy drive way.

I also ordered ASV shorty levers, but they wont be in until monday or so...

I think im gonna take advantage of the shop time and do some other mods too...


on the list so far...

2Bros cans
Relocate 2Bros juice box from under the seat to the gauge area
Paint radiator cap black
Paint Pegs black
Remove old red rim stripe and apply new one (old was a little sloppy)

any other ideas???

I want to take the rearsets off also and paint them... do you think its pretty much wortheless due to them rubbing off too easy? or atleast give it a shot first?

Now THAT is a black bike :rof: and adding Carbon 2 Bros cans adds more black... I like.

With the rear-sets, if you got them powder-coated, it would probably last longer, but normal paint would rub off pretty quickly (I think).

yeah, i got a guy who will powdercoat the rearsets, handlebars, and pegs for $100! thats super cheap, but i gotta ahve a place to take them off first and give them to him to do... then wait for 2 weeks, then have a place to put them back on... its not a huge deal, but right now i really dont have an extra $100 for something like that (especially after ordering 2 bros, and finding out today that we have been cut from 45 hours a week down to 40, when our original cut 3 weeks ago was from 50 to 45)

and actually, not pictured... i also painted my windscreen black! so its gonna be UBER black... but the exhaust is painted black already now, so 2bros wont even be noticeable.

Sorry to hear of your work cut-backs... dealing with the same thing here. My company is being hit hard with the economic crisis, I have only worked 16 days so far this year... 8 days in January, and 8 days in February... I know where you're coming from. Hope things pick up for you soon.

Where did you find 2B cans for that price? I have only seen them for about a grand! I am planning on getting some CF 2 bros this summer when I can save up my pennies, that is!
Bike looks great , I like the black thing goin on...I wonder if I can turn my whole bike red? I like the powdercoating idea for the bars and beck set, I think I might do that too. Black wind shield, too? Whew! Slick!:thumbup:

[email protected] He is a real cool guy... they have a shop in Florida... and their personal website is BiohazardCycles.com... they have an ebay store selling them for $725 but after talking to him i was told that he could do them for $699 shipped... if i put out a work about the great deal. Ordered them on friday at 6pm, they put the order in on monday morning, and the pipes were at my house on tue when i got home... cant beat it.

not sure what the Titanium or Alum price would be...

Just the $699 deal. It went up to about $725 I think, which is still an excellent price if you compare it to anything else you can find!

Oh, shipping is NOT next day. The original poster just lives right by the wharehouse it is shipped from. Big deal though imo.

I bit the bullet & ordered the 2-bro cf on Friday. I'm stoked!!!

I'm thinking I should unhook my battery during the install, letting the computer reset for when I fire her back up, all open 'n all. Should let me get the max performance outta her?
