I recently changed the gas tank on my 08' and after that the fuel level readings are way off .Can the fuel level sesnor be calibrated or is it because incorrect installation of float

I think I've read that installing the assembly can be tricky.
Maybe a search on the forum will turn up more info. No there is not an adjustment. The float assembly may not moving freely internally.

I'd try pulling the pump again and cleaning the contacts on the sending unit with a pencil eraser. Just don't bump the wiper too hard.

When my fuel meter shows one bar above empty it is about 2.8 gallons below full. I reset the trip meter on every fill up so watch my miles as much as the fuel meter.
