Ok, i searched, and could not find, and i am pretty sure it has been done, and written about in here, but, i want to put my 07 FZ6 gauges (instrument panel), on my 06 FZ6.
Now as a lot of you know, the 04-06 gauges are a different design to the 07+ FZ6's, for both naked's & faired versions.
The wiring loom is also different, where it connects with the respective instrument panels....04-06, is 2 plugs, 07+ is one plug.
The Headlight, and Instrument main stay frame, is the same on both bikes, in terms of where it connects to the bikes triple clamps, so this is no issue...
only issue seems to be the wiring....
Can anyone who has done this, or knows of the where-abouts of the thread on this....either direct me to the thread, or tell me what they did to fix, help!
Am presuming i just need to swap out wiring looms as well, as long as they are both the same, where they connect into the bikes main wiring loom....i only presume this, cause i have not been bothered to take the tank, airbox, battery, etc, off, to get to the other end of the instrument panel/headlight/indicators, wiring loom, to have a look.
