Not counting the down time of waiting for parts, and having the tank and headlight mini-fairing painted, I`d say 2 and 1/2 days

Sounds like a plan. I am still breaking in the FZ6. Can not go faster than about 70MPH. I'm still looking around for some gear: jacket and a gloves. Let me know when you want to ride.

Thanks everyone for the great comments... I posted the same thread on a french forum and half of these a-holes did not like it :Flip: I keep getting the comment that the headlight is too low on the forks... it's true that the OEM headlight is located much higher, but I think it looks out of place if all the way up on the forks... What do you all think?

hehe I am actually glad I crashed my previous fizzer, for two reasons:

1) it was a good warning for me to stop pushing the limits of my -poor- skillz....

2) I actually prefer the look of my new one!!

haha good point about the french guys... I was born and lived in France until I was 21, so I have a few ties still

I noticed that since I put the mini fairing on the headlight the turbulences I felt around my belly are gone... the wind on a Naked is really not that bad at all, unless you ride at 110mph+ all the time. I can cruise at 100mph (real = 90) without any effort to hang on. Above that speed you start to hug the tank with your legs and tuck in a little... but that's when the real fun begins :Sport:

Wow, the bigger shots are great! NICE looking bike!

Although a chin cowl on a naked bike is... unusual. EDIT: Looking at the fourth photo above in particular, the cowl along with the headlight nacelle looks very science fiction/transformer/evil looking, I'm LIKING it a lot!
