hi guys,
i just got a 2005 fz6 and it needed a speedo, i found one on ebay from the same year just a US model (this bike is cdn).

the plugs are different

on the bike side it has a 10 pin connector and a another 6 pins connector

on the speedo side it has
2- 6 wire connections (one is black and one is clear)

what should i do?

thanks mike

:welcome:to the forum!

I don't know why a Canadian speedo would be different from another country.
I could see maybe the ignition switch being different if you have an immobilizer.

Maybe the plug on te bike was changed out from the stock plugs?

Are you sure you have the correct replacement?

Here's what yours should look like http://www.600riders.com/forum/bikes-parts-sale/39511-2006-speedometer-gauge.html
