Southport

Wondering if many FZ6 forum users go Southport? I've seen a few people there, on old Fazers, FZ6's and FZ1's and it'd be neat to know if they were any fellow forum users.

Go there two or three times a year for a day out but normally go in car. First place I visit is where your bike is parked just opposite the chippy.

I quite like Southport, I have fond memories of the fairground as a kid, and Lord St is still nice to walk up and down, despite the town changing/slipping quite a bit over the last few years, but I suppose that goes for most of the UK. I know our town's better days have likely gone for good.

The ride is quite good from where I am, heading down Rainford bypass to Ormskirk then onto Southport. I always park outside the chippy next to the carousel. That chippy does a damn tasty portion of chips and sprite. *taps belly*
