Well, I've been DYING to get some serious cargo capacity since I bought my FZ6. Stealing my kids backpack (normally fits a 7-year old) works fine for carrying a few things, but it's getting old. I love my tankbag, but it's not big either.

Today I broke down and ordered a Givi V46 and FZ351 top rack from sporttour.com I really want the V35-PLX side cases too, but the cost is much too high for me to buy everything at once.

Knowing that this stuff is on backorder at many places, I figured it would be quite a while before it arrives. I ordered it at noon today and to my surprise it was shipped out by 5:15 pm (pretty impressive). Amazingly, it's being delivered here in Michigan from Southern Ohio by TOMORROW. That's right folks....TOMORROW! And the shpping was FREE!! Hopefully that's the rack and top case coming....and hopefully the right ones.

So now I'm gonna shorten my ride tomorrow so I can sit by the front door and watch for the truck. There's nothing better than the anticipation of new mods (other than getting them done of course). I remember when I first got my FZ6 and I had UPS and FedEx show up with stuff at the same time.....that was pretty sweet.

Me too D-Mac  My Givi V46 (blue) and FZ351 mount took only a couple of days to come into my local yammy dealer. Just like you, I decided to add the side cases later. I'm going to be putting it on tomorrow morning, along with the cf M4 pipes :D Pics to follow.

Post pics when you have it on. I've been wanting to get a topbox as well, would like to see what yours looks like and how much capacity it has.

Will do. I'll take some photos with it off/on and with various things loaded into it.

I got the plain black case for now (cheaper) and I think it'll look ok. There are lots of add-on options for this case - everything from brake lights to an interior light to lots of color-matched covers.

D-Mac, you're going to love the topcase...and the sidecases, when you get them. I get lots of comments on the sidecases looking like they're factory-installed, they fit so well.

Here you go! I put these on in August...capacity is incredible! Topcase will hold two full-face helmets; sidecases are more capacious than the sidecases on my BMW.

Your setup looks great! I got my topcase on today. No pics yet - it's too dark outside and can't find the charger for the damn camera. I'll try for some pics tomorrow.

Installation was surprisingly easy. The instructions could be better, but I went slow and had no problems. I read them over before the case arrived (you can get easy-to-see PDF files of all GIVI parts via the Canadian website at givi.ca). I also took apart the taillight assembly this morning, so that sped things up too. It probably took me an hour to get everything on.

I am VERY impressed with the quality of the case and the mounting hardware. Compared with other systems I've looked at everything is very solid. The case opens and closes smoothly and it comes off the rack easily too. When locking it down it has a reassuring 'click' so you know it's on there. There's no way it's coming off accidentally.

Can't wait for a test ride tomorrow morning!
