Slipons and bags

I'm looking at sometime getting some slipons but I do use some throw over bags a lot. I'm wondering if the heat from the new cans would burn the bags as there won't be anything protective over the cans. Anyone use bags with aftermarket slipons? Looking at some pictures and the handrails should hold the bags away from the exhaust?

It depends. I use stock exhaust, my friend owns a fz6 with akrapovic slip-ons and they are extremly cold even harder rides with longer distances. What about your bike's exhust?
