Sorry to rehash this but I've got a unique issue, I believe.. So here's a few pix of my issue, this is on the right side front fairing..

This was a botched repair job by the previous owner, somehow he ripped the light off and the plastics that the light attaches to are trashed....
So my options are to either replace the plastics and reattach the light the right way or replace the lights with something better?

I'd prefer an option where I'm not using the OEM lights, please give me some great suggestions!!

buy used fairings or cut a whole around it and get fiberglass and smooth it out and mount signals somewhere else :p

I'm curious, with aftermarket lights, do they mount the same way the OEM one's do, or do they typically use their own mounting method. Basically, do I have to replace that fairing piece or can I get some other lights to mount?

I have an 07 it's an s2 I needed adapter plates about 5 $ at cyclegear not sure looks like you have a s1 04-06 maybe flush mount would be the right size, not 100% sure but the plates could work for you also but they will be black not blue :)
