Yes, I've done the dual headlight but not using BD's loom. I did an in-line splice up at the handlebar. However, regarding tipping the tank, I had to to install the Battery Tender Jr leads on the battery.

Thanks for the kudos! I know we didn't give much warning. It was a last minute plan to meet and ride and the weather was questionable right up to the morning of the ride. Did you post up your intention to make the BIG Aug. meet? We're giving you a ton of warning there!

BTW, your bike is WAAAAAYYYY too clean. I'm going to venture out on a limb and say "You don't ride it!" It's a show piece?

I'd have to find the link again but someone posted a comparison of the stock lights vs. LED and not once were any LED lights ever brighter than the stock lights. I have a buddy with a Duc 996 and he put in the LED tail. After our ride, I told him that he'd best go back to the original because I had a VERY hard time seeing him braking during the day, especially with the sun at our backs. So, we swapped bikes for a short ride so he could see what I meant. When we got back to his place, he parked it and swapped to the stocker. Just my own personal experience. I wanted the LED tail until my ride with him.

That's what everyone says... I like my stuff clean though. I literally wipe it down after every ride... I have a little over 600 miles on it (just changed the oil, lots of metal shavings :thumbup
