Sad day in the Stumbles house

Thank you all. It was tough just to walk out to the backyard. We've always had 2 dogs here, it just didn't seem right, so I took a trip out to the Animal Welfare league. Unfortunately, they didn't have any puppies, just some older dogs, and I don't know how they would get along with my 8 year old Maltese.

Checked the local paper, and found a breed of puppy that I have wanted my entire life. Black Labrador, and "Max" now has a new home.

I know it's really soon, but it just felt wrong not having a second dog here.
I'll throw some photo's up soon. Everyone here has a smile on their faces again, and "Buster" will live on in our memories, and in our hearts.

Its never to soon mate , there was suddenly a big void that needed to be filled :thumbup:....The other dog would have been upset and wondering what was going on so it's better for him aswell.......I had to have a dog put down years ago at the RSPCA and walked out the back and took another one home straight away.....

So sorry to hear Dave. I'm about 10 months over losing my boy (cat) and I'll miss him always, but i can't wait to get back into my house so i can get another cat. Good move getting another furry pal.

Max. Great name. Good job getting a new pup right away. I was going to suggest that but kinda got slagged the last time I did so. That's how I do it.

You can't replace the memories but you can fill the void.
 
Gosh! So sorry to hear about your loss! :( I know how you feel - those little buggers just worm their way directly to your heart.

Glad to hear about Max. Labs are great dogs. Looking forward to some picts!
 
Glad you got a new puppy man. Life is for the living, we can remember those that have gone as well, but life is for the living.

I showed my wife your album pics, I think the Weimariner is a wonderful dog. We wanted a short haired dog, and even found a Weim in the paper, but they wanted $900, and I didn't have that much cash laying around :(

Max is great, even goes "toilet" outside every time I take him out... nothing inside... yet :thumbup: (I know... early days :rof: )

Sorry to hear that! We had to put my 12 year old golden retriever down due to cancer a few years back... I know how ur feeling!!!
