Rocket Shield group buy

Nice bike....but not so sure about the "rocketshield" :eyebrow: :disapprove:

That's the ugliest thing I've ever seen. The owner of it says it's so comfortable that he no longer has to wear a full-face helmet. I never realized that full face helmets were all about comfort...

I ordered two. LOL LOL
You will probably need them lol,
I think that anything that allows the rider to expose theie face is a bad idea. I wonder how that thing reacts in a cross wind?
To quote Dennis " It is so wrong"
Nelly

Man, I was hoping it were just a bit bigger then I could get even better gas mileage by using wind power....

It's sort of like that rediculous BMW scooter thingy... (I HATE these things - and the tossers that tend to drive them)

OK, that does it!!! Where can I get me some of them way cool racing decals. That should give the cagers something to talk about........

I saw a motorcycle on TV that was made with one of these:

You chop off the front cokpit area, leaving the wings and stuff behind. You mount an engine with 2 wheels on the bottom and finally, get this:

Use a gyroscope to always keep the craft UP on it's two wheels!

In other words, what's the point of a fragile canopy? You could just get a car right?

Yeah, I can't think of the UK company that builds them but they even have tandem seating...

I have to imagine that thing would knock your gas mileage by at least 25%. Bikes are going to respond to aerodynamic changes a lot more than a car will. If you're going to put one of those on a bike, you shoulda skipped the bike and bought a Chevy Aveo or a Honda Fit

Enough jokes now...Its crap..anyone can see its crap.. I cannot imagine how it would exclude you wearing a helmet.

At least the other bike is made by BMW and regardless of anything else they do make good vehicles.

Theses are for the disabled and pensioners are they not???

I applaud the lunatic who came up with the idea, designed it and made it if he sells even one. It would just prove the point that there is always someone more nuts than you.

Funny how shapes can improve aerodynamic drag and there are times when the shape you are looking at (which looks horrible) actually reduces drag. The human body is a good example of bad shapes when it comes to drag and it doesn't take much to improve upon it as it is that bad.

Yeah, there's a real simple way to test that too :) Drive FZ6 down highway at 75. Now maintain throttle and lay down on tank..... speed increases a couple MPH :D

Or the reverse when you see that funny looking red or blue light on the side of the road and you need a speed brake. Dang speedo drops like a rock when you sit up....
