Here we go , relating to performance, what is the best mod. you have done and noticed a big improvement ...don't make a list, just the single best item that you really noticed an improvement in performance....? :BLAA:

Easy. 15 tooth front sprocket. Cheap, easy, and very noticeable performance increase.

Aftermarket Exhaust. Love the louder sound, vroom vroom, vroom vroom. You can hear me coming and going, something that the stock exhaust could never do.

Fork mods. New springs, fluid, and valving..... much more confidence in the steering and braking.

I've done mods to get more ponies but I have to say that the most satisfying mod above all is my steering damper!

1. The Luckyirishboy foot plate inserts. I ride in mainly rain and wet. The difference in grip my feet have is brilliant. I have not had one foot slip of a wet peg.

2. BD43 headlight mod. It make a big difference on the dark roads.

The best thing about both these mods is that they are not mass produced.

The only problem with it is now I can tell how bad the rear shock is.

Having replaced the rear with an Ohlins..... I don't think just swapping springs to one that is correctly sized would be enough to cure what ails the back end.... the OEM rebound rate is IMHO much to 'fast'. At least it was, when I had to ride that thing with the shock set full 'hard' to keep it from wallowing around.

Good damping rates, and the right weight spring make a world of difference.

R6 rear shock mod, re-valve the valve stack, fit the correct weight spring, combined with R6 front fork mod and steering damper; the way to go…

I haven't been modding much but my most positive mod was the dual headlight mod. I just got a set of braided brake lines for the bike but they're not on yet, but once they are I think they may be my #1 mod.
