Retro Bar End Mirror Installation with pictures

At last my new rizoma retro style replica bar end mirrors arrived.
Delivery took 10 days after payment from Honkong. Not bad.
And i can say that the quality looks perfect for $50 including postage.
Here are the photos.

Fitting the clutch side was not difficult but i could not put on the throttle side yet. It stucks the throttle when i tighten it. So any help would be great.


This is the beginning of a naked project. OEM naked headlight is ready to fit.
May be next week.

You using a torque wrench? Sure you're not over tightening it?

I tend to have that "I hope it doesn't fall off" type of mindset and end up over-tightening if I'm not using a torque wrench.

Nice man....I just bought knockoffs of those (if they don't last I'll get real ones) except I flipped the mirrors inside instead of out. I placed mine over my bar ends though, were they supposed to go in between?

No i didn't use a torque wrench.
The fitting is not done properly yet.
I think of buying some m16 thread screws and making a custom bar end. But i am worried about the look of it.

Erci do you have any photographs of your throttle side mirror?
How did you fit it?
Did you use that plastic extra collar parts ?

I 2nd that they look awesome!!! As far as installing the throttle side, if they are not to tight maybe try and put a small washer on the bar end that would just be big enough to get the bar end off the throttle grip

May be i can put a roller washer between throttle girp and mirror joint.
So the throttle can move free.
