Anyone using Rizoma Proguard?

I've been toying with the idea of a front brake protector for a while now and the Rizoma Proguard looks the business.

They also have a matching bar end for the left side.

However, I have read some posts that playing with the weight of the bar ends affects the handling and can cause wobbling, so I am a little hesitant.

There are 2 versions of the Proguard, the race version weighs 118g and the street version weighs 184g. There is no weight given in the catalogue for the left bar end.

I can't be bothered to go and take a bar end of my bike and weigh it, does anyone know what it weighs?

Even better, does anyone have this on their bike and can give an opinion?

I have weighed the stock bar ends. Can't remember the number, but it's on my website sangera2.com in the mods section. I called it reducing my vibes or something.

That's 312 grams, almost double the weight of the Rizoma device. Maybe I should take my bar ends off and ride it without them to see what the effect is.

I rode without bars. Never again. Very annoying "buzz" feeling on hands.
