RESULTS SPOILER - Valencia MotoGP

Before the nasty event, talk was Gresini would be 1 x HRC Proto for the great young man and 1 x CRT bike.

Maybe LCR is getting the HRC bike???? The Daz rumors were either RdP or possibly Alvaro popping up over ther & aparently HRC have eyes on Alvaro.

Bautista is hot property right now....i reckon if anyone will get a "Factory" ride, i reckon he is the one....and he is sorta available...

Know I posted just before I didn't want to talk about it, but will quickly say Alvaro is who I'd put on the 3rd HRC bike without a second thought.

Would love to see RdP back on a Honda or a Yammie for that matter , anything other than that miserable , awful , disgusting , disgraceful donkey bike that Pramac Ducati served up :spank: It has been sad watching one of my favs languishing in the bottom half of the field :(

Rock on RdP for 2012

It would be even better if those guys sort out the stupid Ducrapi and we get more competitive bikes on the grid and thus more interesting racing.

They just need a better rider at Ducati.....like Stoner! Oh hang on, they had that, and lost it! :BLAA:

:D

Talking about rides and teams, they say 22 bikes on the grid next year. But with the CRT's (BTW, what the hell is a CRT) and a couple of 800's still there, how many competitive bikes will there actually be?

Probably going to be Iannone who is going to take over after Marco, it would certainly make San Carlo very happy, considering he is testing for Gresini tomorrow.

Now they just have to change his contract for next year... Wonder if Honda will stick him on a factory bike.

1st year riders/rookies are not allowed to ride for factory teams.

Pretty sure the rule extends to a factory bike in a satellite team too.

Can just remember Julian and Toby talking about it a few races back..

Found it!
In the Grand Prix regulations, from the FIM website, it says in 1.11.11: Riders who enter the Championship for the first time (Rookies) must be entered by a non factory team
So there is actually no mention that they can't ride a factory bike, unless if they have a more detailed book at Dorna where it is more fleshed out.

Oh - bloody Julian and Toby - they are useless. They miss SOO much when racing. We've usually noticed a rider down in the background and they realise about a lap later, "Hey, where's ....?"....

Bloody useless. If I wasn't so biased to a certain rider I think I'd make an excellent commentator :D

Yes on Sunday night i was watching those guys commentate on TV, and watching the live lap times on the Moto GP site, and it took them about 4 laps to work out that Casey Stoner was coming back to the following pack...

Hopeless, is the word...very frustrating, they were woeful in the Moto 2 Race on the Weekend....they need Steve Martin...he is the best i have heard since Bazza Sheen, and he, like Bazza, knows what he is talking about.

Don't you guys watch the One telecasts with Nick Harris & Gavin Emmett?????

They are piss funny, especially during qualifying :D

They aren't as bad as Toby and Julian BUT they aren't very good either. Very annoying.

BTW WTF is up with One HD? No interviews with Moto2 winners?

They have done it a few times this year, once for MotoGP too.

Let Foxtel have it again I say. They also used to preview every rider on the grid before the warm up lap.

So Nick and Gavin is out, Julian and Toby is out.. I take it you watch the racing on mute :D
If your not satisfied with the coverage from the TV stations wouldn't a pass for MotoGP.com be the way to go?

Can highly recommend the pass for the Moto GP site.....is awesome! You see so much more, either live, or when you want...live timing, etc, etc....

I have been using Mikey's pass lately... :spank: and i must say it's something i should of done myself long ago, and definitely will next year.

Was thinking about getting a pass last year when BBC had the coverage:rant::banghead:

But having rubbish internet it would just have turned into a lag fest, so Racingfor.me it is :)

You definitely need a decent internet connection, which i have only managed to have for last couple of months...before that it was not worth trying to use the pass...all the video is high def...
