Hi all, trying to figure out how to remove my mirrors on the 08 FZ6. I pulled the rubber sheath down but it doesn't seem there's a way to remove them that way. Do I need to unbolt the fairing to get at it? Thanks.

You need to only remove the inner fairings. Its about 10 hex head screws. Should take 5min tops.

Good idea for anyone else who stumbles upon this to pull the inner panels and check the nuts securing the mirrors. Mine lost a nut and the others were loose. As said, it takes about 5 min or less and you can tighten all the loose philips screws too!
Hint - or you can unplug the LEFT side harness and remove the whole fairing in another 5 min. by removing the 2 12mm bolts at the base of the fairing mount to the frame.
