Hi All,

Can someone please let me know if anyone is using knee sliders that do not have Velcro attachments on the back of them? None of my pants have this to attach. Are there any to get that I can put over them and strap them down to the knee. I was looking at the pants that have the Velcro build right in the pants but most of them are in leather and in summer is freaking hot with leathers. I only practice knee drags in the open parking lots and on the nice roads close to me that rarely have traffic. I am not that crazy to go out on public roads and knee drag every tight turn.

:disclaimer: I really know nothing about this :D

Could you go to like a craft store/Wal-mart and buy velcro straps and just strap them around your leg......like skateboard knee pads?

Uhh did not think of that, but if I would do that, i am afraid it will slide out of the place. Maybe I could get Velcro straps, sew it on my pants and just get knee sliders and attach it like this. But would not like to make holes im my new riding pants tho.

How big of a parking lot and how fast are you going in a parking lot to get your knee down? Don't they have track days for that sort of thing? I'm confused.

If you're serious about riding "race" style, you really should get a leather suit. Or just leather pants. You really wont regret it, knee sliders need to be snug and solid around your leg if you want to use em correct.

+1 protecting your knee is good. Protecting your legs is better, even if it's too hot outside :)

 on practicing dragging a knee in parking lots... you really dont need a lot of speed or room to practice that... youtube has a lot of cool vids of ppl doing it.
