Hi all,
looking at Radiator guards and wondering what people have fitted, stainless steel/aluminium?
How much they might have paid and if they fit with existing hardware, use the side cover mounts or some I have read about use zip ties?
These are links to a few I am interested in and am keen to get others opinions.

Beowulf Performance Products

Powerbronze UK International -

Yamaha FZ6 2008-2011 - Radguard Store

If you know of more(Australian manufacturers especially)I'd be happy to hear about them

Adrian, I've only EVER bought RadGuards.

We've had them on ZX6, Daytona 675, XJR1300, FZ6 and Speed 3 1050. They do a mill finish as well as the black. I'd highly recommend them. You also get stickers, bike magazines and stubby holders in the parcel when it arrives

I got one from ebay a few years back. Dont remember how much it cost.
If you really want I can scan back through my emails and probably find a link.

Here's a pic of it

edit: It's bolted on using the original bolts and holes. Personally I'd stay away from anything that needs cable (zip) ties

Thanks Geoff,
looks a lot like the beuwulf guard, i like that it bolts in how the original does,
can you remenber if it is one of theirs. So far the price is good, Aussie exchange rate puts it at just over $A100.delivered
Thanks Kaz for the Reccomendation on RadGuard, but the price might knock them out of contention
ahh decisions decisions

Contact - self adhesive contact paper - you can stick it on just about anything

That's a WILD pattern on his bike ;)

Also known simply as wallpaper, popular state-side in the 60's and 70's(horrid stuff if you ask me). And that's the first thing I noticed in that pic. I thought, "who the frack puts wallpaper on their motorcycle??!!". lol

I have the Beowulf one too. They make great stuff. I sprayed mine black though. It looks great & is worth considering if you want to match it with the bike more than shiny metal does. Pics on my website linked to below.
