RaceTech Front Springs and Emulators

Hello All,

Just wanted to let anyone who is interested know that I had a set of RaceTech springs and emulators installed in my '06. MAN what a difference! The bike absorbs bumps and potholes like never beore, and gives excellent feedback when riding the twisties. I was never happy with the stock springs...they bottom out and are harsh-riding.

I WAS looking into the R6 front end swap, but after thinking about it, the springs, even though adjustable in the R6, are still stock. I am very happy with this setup, and I am glad I went this route. The whole thing, parts and labor, cost about $500.

I am also moving this to the regular FZ6 mods instead of the FZ6R mods section.

Did this mod quite some time ago....makes a huge difference, even if it's just for the ability to tune the suspension for your weight, riding style, etc.

That's on my winter mod list for this coming year. I have already spent a ton so far on mods. I just love it however. I just ordered a TopSaddlery seat. Can't wait. I still need money to enjoy the summer. :thumbup:
