just wondering... ped or anyone else, have you guys done this with the stock R1 shock? would it be that much more of a difference? i noticed that Bill's shock came with spacers, so does teh stock come with a form of spacers too? Just wanna see how it goes with the stock swap, because i think the actual shape of the Fox Shock allowed Bill to install without cutting the subframe. Plus I really dont want to go out and buy sleeves/spacers etc because i dont have the proper tools for measuring and cutting them.

id say only do this if you're really into doing trackdays and getting faster. the stock shock will work pretty good for just going out and having fun on a track and what not. its really just a problem with the dampening characteristics of the stocker, with the R1 shock you'll be able to adjust it, but if you dont have the slightest understanding of how or anyone to do it for you its worthless as well.
i dont have the money to do for the forseable future though.
