Q's about co adjustment

Im doing a drop in filter, cat delete and possible drill out of stock muffler and want to give the co adjust mod a try. My question is, does the jumper wire need to be grounded at all times or just during the adjustment process. Ive been looking around for a couple days but havent really across a clear cut way of doing it. I found a decent description the other night but didnt save it and cant remember where i saw it to save my life. Any help would be appreciated, oh and i do plan on upgrading to a pc3 and r1 cans in about a month or so. I need to practice on my tig a bit before i jump in on that project.

The jumper only has to be hooked up during adjustment. When your done, back out, turn the key to off and unhook the jumper.

I know it used to be on here, but i can't seem to find it anymore, can you post pics of which wire needs to be jumped and what you need to do to get to that part of the menu? I want to play with this a bit this year and am having a heck of a time finding decent pics of which wire to jump.

I will probably just ground it and leave it hooked up since it won't cause any harm to the bike to make it accessible all the time.

Thanks for the info hopefully i can try it out next week. Waiting on a bunch of random parts to come in. air filter and bars showed up yesterday as well as the f/e kit. Just need my smog blockoffs, framesliders, and to do my cat delete.
