Puncture; WTF

After 10 days of constant rain, we woke up to a beautiful sunny day today. My brother and I geared up at around 5am and set out on a ride. 10 minutes into the ride, my brother pulled over and stopped. I did a u-turn and pulled up along side him. I think I’ve got a puncture he shouted, No problem I said, I get the repair kit from under my seat. In my 25+ years of riding, I’ve never seen anything like it; he picked up a 3.5” piece of flat bar.

Glad you caught it. Trust me... having something like that punture your tire mid-turn is no fun.
