Hmm, anyone have a blue puig racing on a blue 2007 FZ6?

I, too, would like to see the blue racing screen as I'm thinking about getting a blue one for my cobalt blue 08. Anyone have a picture of it installed on a blue FZ?

I have seen pics of that Touring screen before, but it looks aweful, trust me. Get the Racing, it's more than enough.

Its only a tiny bit higher and looks no worse then the racing screen!!!

For a second there I wondered how you managed to get a picture of my FZ. Then I noticed that you you still have the \"Puig\" sticker on the upper right edge - I removed mine. Also looks like you have the T-Rex sliders, I have OES. It looks like you have the same bar-ends as me. Didn't you used to have a painted windscreen?

yes but the letters for my son's name in Japanse were to big so i bought the PUIG in red

Digging up an older thread here... :Flash:

After lots of reading, research and comparisons (what else am I to do when it is too cold and conditions are too crappy to ride?) - I decided to get a Puig windscreen over the Powerbronze. Ordered it from Kneedraggers and they were incredibly fast with shipping. I originally wanted light smoke - thought I ordered it too - but when I look back, the only two available smoke colors were smoke and dark smoke. I got smoke. And... It looks excellent on the bike!

Here is a before and after pict - what an improvement!

Hmmm... I know this is going to be my next mod but I can't decide on the light or dark smoke. I like to looks of the dark smoke much more but don't think I could see through it when tucked since I already have a dark tint visor!

Hi everyone!

I wonder if anyone has the original Yamaha touring screen installed.
I can´t decide betwen the Yamaha Touring screen and the Puig racing screen...

The puig seems to get beter looks but the yamaha touring seems to be more eficient.

Anyone tried both? Witch one is beter for higspeed cruising?

Basicaly i want protection. But, i afraid that my bike stays with a strange look with the original touring.

What do you guys think? I'm getting crazy with this...

It's really great compares to the original but I didn't drove the puig.
And I think the look is OK, too. Even if the puig looks a bit more sprotive. But I think the yamaha touringscreen tooks more wind of my shoulders.

What about the head? Do you feel much turbulence and noise in the head area?

I´m about 1,90m height... Will the puig be enought or, should i choose the Yamaha touring ?

Well, there are turbulences. At least my helmet makes much less noise when I am standing on the bike. But it's all relative.
I think when you want perfect air flow around the helmet you should stay away from any screen that is higher than the original.

But the difference is big from original to touring. With the original screen speeds above 130km/h for longer time became uncomfortable. With the touringscreen 160-170km/ are still relaxed. Faster I dont go atm for long time to save fuel.

This is mine, it's Puig Dark Smoke Racing Screen:

I'm 6'3 and it made a huge difference. Cruising at higher speeds (at any speed really) is much more comfortable. I'm never taking it off!
