Well here it is.
The side pods were white but one melted under the stripper????????? Why its a mystery. Anywho now they are black for a while.

I like it. Not perfect but it was free with the cost of material, and my lots O' sanding.

Thanks man!!! You know I do too. I was thinking this after noon of just getting two black ones for the 08 raven edition.

I am just tickled with it. Rode it around for a few minutes to test out the fuel pump swap, it feels just awesome with the low forward bars.

Tig welded baby!!!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL

Woooooooooooo.

I paid the guy a 20$ tip and 60$ for the work.

We removed the bolt, V ed the cracks, heated the area, welded the cracks, then put a face of tig over the whole entire area. Its the strongest part of the frame now. LOL

Little flat black and no one can tell unless you feel for it, or look very closely.

I gotta say, I love it. I have to ask, how do you like the mirrors? Were they a PITA to install? I have a project in my mind...only in my mind at this point, and probably there forever, but those mirrors call to me.

Not rust, I ride in the rain alot. It comes right off with steel wool and brake clean then polishes up with neverdull.

The mirrors are easy if you have a different non threaded bar. Otherwise they dont work.

Nice ride. White on black does look nice. I like the bottom cowl. Which one is that? Would you please provide a link? Also, how did you mount your speedo?

I'm ready for my headlight to come in so that I can get mine put back together and ride.

The belly pan is Yamaha.

The speedo I cut apart the fairing stay/speedomount and made it till I can get the Euro mount and back for the speedo.

Oh yea it will hold. The machine shop I used to repair heads for me fills in the washed out water jacket's on the aluminum heads by tig welding them.have'nt had one fail yet!!:thumbup:
