Chris and Randy....I'd forgotten about this shot I took from an airplane back in 2010 when my best friend got married....your last pic of Mt. Hood reminded me that I had this one Chris

Great shot, Brenda! I like the warmth of the horizon contrasting against the cold mountain.

I also got to see a little bit of your backyard. Completely flat around Denver and then more mountains than I've ever seen.

Awesome big sky images. You got real lucky with those great clouds! Thanks for sharing.

We are very lucky & get cloud formations like that a fews time a week :p :p

Had the same thing tonight but I didn't have my camera with me :( but I did manage to find 2 new locations this arvo & one will even get a bit of an Aussie wildlife in the shot if I'm lucky :cheer: :cheer: :D :D

Daytime lightning is very difficult to capture when you don't have the high dollar equipment. This is my first one. A rain storm was rolling in toward our house, I had about 15 minutes to grab the camera and tripod, set it up and start taking some pics. I didn't even know I got this one until looking through them. Shutter speed was 1/5th of a second. I did have a polarized filter on which helped get a lower shutter speed but that was the best I could do. Aperture was set at 22 I believe. The camera was only about 2 feet off the ground, just above the grass (which we need to have cut and baled).

Also ran into a motorcycle cop riding on the bicycle path, which is unusual. They're ditching BMWs and switching to the Kawi Concours.

A lot of agencies aren't doing their homework first and finding out that Kawasaki isn't warrantying the bikes after being modified into police bikes as they didn't design the bikes to be police bikes. So agencies are purchasing brand new bikes without factory warranties, getting burned when they take them in for work. Some have already ditched their C14's and gone back to BMW.

What happens when two friends on Yamahas visit you and you get bored? You try to make a Yamaha logo with your bikes ;)
