I sprayed about 4 coats of gloss black plastic paint and a clearcoat on top of that. Love the way it turned out!

Thanks guys. Heres exactly what i did.

1.Clean windscreen
2.Sand with 400 grit
3.Sand With 600 grit
4.Clean windscreen
5. Tape off areas you do not want to paint (outside of windscreen)
6. Spray 4 light even coats to the inside of the windscreen, letting dry 45 minutes between coats
7. Spray clearcoat and let cure overnight

The key is really thin coats and keep doing them until your happy. This is the first thing ive painted that turned out exactly the way i wanted it to lol. Its not too difficult! Try it

I did my stocker a few months ago.

That is gorgeous. It's the first mod I've seen that I'd actually want for my bike. :)

. . . .one question though,is sanding really necessary ?

Only if you want the paint to stick. . .
Keep it mind it flexes so you better have a good bond. And stay away from Lacquer based paints as the solvents may attack the material.

Also, Enamel based paint applied in thin coats allows it "flash off" so it reduces risk of lifting and bubbling.
