Does anyone have a definitive answer for sizes on these? I want to replace them with shiny gold ones when I replace the gasket (had a little weep), and want to get them ordered. I would take them out and measure them, but I'm riding the bike daily and don't want to risk disturbing the gasket and make the leak worse.

Cheers.

IIRC there are two different lengths used. Best I can offer is I have a spare pan and can measure the depth of the holes but you'll need to pull a bolt and toss a pitch gauge on it to gather those details...
PS - that'll be 10+ hrs from now...

Gold - wha???

I may have gone a bit "magpie" for shiny shiny trinkets......

I was going to get this, but apparently it doesn't have the pump cover bolts in

Do you mean the clutch cover???

The oil pumps inside the engine..

If it is the clutch cover, there's THREE different sizes per the parts fisch:

Yamaha Motorcycle Parts 2007 FZ6 - FZS6W CRANKCASE COVER 1 Diagram

Parts 13, 14 & 15. If your pulling the cover soon for a new gasket, pulling one bolt at a time shouldn't hurt anything. I'd just pull the three that you need to know the lenthes of..

It's actually the timing/ignition cover, but on all parts diagrams it's listed as "oil pump cover". Don't know why.

Oh, I know. I hate this time of year. There's no point trying to keep up with it this time of year, so it gets a professional ACF50 treatment in October/November, then only chain cleans and a good rinse until spring.

I had to ride/stop in the middle of a VERY WET grassy median (3 days of rain, 2" standing deep water) to pick up an item that fell off my rear rack(my boo).

My bike looked like I just came off a motocross track, friggin mud/grass all over (including the chain).

Its NORMALLY DRY season down here, so it ended up getting a bath after that, chain cleaning, header cleaning, etc...

The bike did much better in the goo than I thought it would even with some tire spinning.
