Oil pump chain slack

Ive finally dis assembled the engine to replace my head gasket
Im hearing strange noise upon checking the connecting rod bearing and crankshaft theres no play its not rocking so i guess its good
Cam timing chain is stretched subject for replacement also
Thing ive found is this chain and gear
I believe this is for the oil and water pump, is the chain slack normal? And the gear play rocking
If not then what part should i replace or check
