New (used) tank about ready to go on...

My journey to restoring the battered 2007 FZ6 I purchased earlier this summer is almost over.
Got a tank from a dealer in Cali...had a few dings but the price was right. Got some work done on it today...

Now...need to install it. Gonna search for a good thread that shows me how!

Nice work and it looks Good!
Being the detail orientated guy, how'd you get the dent out and what kind of top coat did you apply!

I used some hardening putty for the dent and a can of clear coat off the shelf. I did it on the cheap...but it turned out better than I expected.
I'm actually considering a matte finish now...for all the painted pieces...

Painted and installed. Got the inner fairings on finally too. i'm loving my FZ being done finally!
